Local requests. Your decision.

FixUber connects independent contractors with people who need help with plumbing, electrical, AC and heating, or handyman work. You decide whether a request fits your skills and availability. FixUber does not employ you or guarantee a volume of work.

Set up your profile

Verify your phone number, enter your experience, choose your trades, and select the localities you serve in Florida or New York. Business name, email, and license fields are optional. Provide accurate profile information and accept the terms for your role.

Make yourself available

Turn on Accepting jobs and keep the website open. The website uses recent activity when determining whether you are available. Allow location access if you want the app to use your reported location when considering nearby requests. This website does not provide continuous background tracking.

Review each offer

You receive a limited window to accept or decline a job. An offer is exclusive while it is active. Accepting starts the requestor’s profile-review window; contact details are shared only after the requestor approves. A contractor with an active offer or job is not offered another job at the same time.

Confirm the visit directly

Check the requestor’s identity, access arrangements, work description, and suitability before meeting or starting work. Agree on the scope, price, payment, and arrival time. Keep your availability up to date and mark completed work appropriately.

Optional fields do not waive requirements

You are responsible for holding the credentials legally required for the work you undertake, even when you leave license fields blank. Self-reported information should be accurate and should not imply a verification that has not occurred.
