Describe the job
Choose the trade and your locality. Add a clear title, details, and useful photos. Sign in with a phone verification code and accept the terms before posting.
Wait for an available contractor
The app checks contractors’ listed trades, service localities, and availability. It offers a job to one eligible contractor at a time. An offer has a limited response window. If it is declined or expires, the search can move to another eligible contractor.
Review the person who accepts
When a contractor accepts, you get a limited review window to check their profile and choose Connect or Pass. There is no automatic approval. If you miss the window, the contractor is released and your job pauses until you search again.
Connect and make your own checks
Approval shares contact details. Discuss the scope, price, insurance, required credentials, and arrival time directly. Approval is an introduction, not a hiring commitment. Mark the job complete and leave a review after the work is finished.
What if no one is available?
The app shows that it is waiting or that the search needs your attention. Availability depends on contractors who are using the service in your selected locality. Keep the website open for time-sensitive updates and enable job texts in your account if you want them.
Does ASAP mean a guaranteed arrival time?
No. ASAP means you want help as soon as an appropriate contractor is available. FixUber does not promise a fixed arrival time, show a live moving contractor map, or calculate a driving ETA in this website release. Confirm the arrival time with the contractor after connecting.
